Home of Hope is a 12 to 15 month, residential program located on the outskirts of Bridgeville, Delaware. Nestled on 90 wooded acres, Home of Hope offers women, and their children under five years of age, a safe place to grow, learn and connect. It’s rural nature and peaceful surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for women to heal, learn and grow into the women they were created to be… women with a purpose and the confidence to take their place in society.
Recognizing that many women experiencing addiction have not developed effective parenting relationships with their children, Home of Hope provides a residential facility that will enable moms to grow with their children. An on-site children’s learning center will feature developmentally appropriate activities for children during the day while moms are participating in recovery-based activities. Home of Hope will have the capacity to serve 20-30 women and children, if applicable.

Delmarva Teen Challenge, part of Teen Challenge USA, a national organization that is dedicated to rehabilitating individuals with life-controlling addictions. We believe that individuals can experience total freedom from addiction. Our purpose is restoring broken lives of those who have been affected by issues like anger, rebellion, depression, drug/alcohol, abuse and other life controlling problems.
Delmarva Teen Challenge, located in Seaford, Delaware, has been serving men since 2008. Using a proven faith based approach Teen Challenge offers individuals the second chance they need to heal, restore relationships and re-enter society with the skills and the confidence to succeed. However, there is a need on the Delmarva Peninsula to provide our program services to women who also experience the bond of addiction. This has been realized by the many phone calls from individuals and families affected by this destructive epidemic.
